Reflection Journal
Reflection Journal
As students start this course, they learn how to use visual notetaking to record and reflect on learning from course texts, presentations, and activities. Starting with brain development, they examine various learning theories that focus on cognitive, contextual, social, and behaviorist approaches. Each student selects a specific learning theorist and develops an infographic detailing the background of the theorist and related ideology. Students also research child developmental benchmarks and present their findings in zine format. The selections here are just a few of the varied approaches that students use to visually record their thinking and learning about our course content.
